Fromm Embossed polyester strapping aids in tensioning transmission because it slides more easily around a package because there is less surface area in contact with the package. Contrast that to smooth strap which has to have a wax application to facilitate transmission around a package and also with the welding process. Wax is somewhat of a problem with tooling and equipment due to it's dusting and build up within the tensioning wheels and gripper pads. Therefore embossed strap is a little easier on the tools and allows for less maintenance and wear. In addition we've found that embossed strap generally welds easier and provides slightly better seal joint efficiency.

    Ralph, my customer service rep was so much help in helping me find the exact product that I was looking for. He went over and above and sent me pictures of the product before I order it to make sure I was getting the correct stuff.
