Made from prime quality stainless steel, Type 316 Stainless Steel Buckles are the best buckle to use when securing Type 316 stainless steel strapping submerged in salt water. If your application is not submerged in salt water a type 304 buckle stainless steel buckle will work fine. Stainless Steel Buckles should be used for heavy duty applications (.025 gauge stainless steel strapping or higher) and are designed to improve the stretching process for better tension. Buckles can be used with either single or double strap bands.
